What You’ll Do

You’ll work alongside a lead teacher to help create a safe, joyful, and engaging classroom.

With the children, you will:

• Help guide learning, play, and daily routines
• Supervise kids during play, meals, outdoor time, and transitions
• Encourage kindness, respect, and positive behavior
• Be fully present—keeping children safe, happy, and supported
• Assist with restroom breaks and clothing changes (always with another adult present)
• Help kids practice healthy habits like handwashing
• Support children when they’re feeling unwell and communicate with leadership

In the classroom, you will:

• Help prep fun activities (including Bible stories, art, and STEAM projects)
• Assist with setup and cleanup
• Let the teacher know when supplies are running low
• Be a positive role model in words and actions
