Position Details

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Content Curator who will be responsible for focusing on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client social media platforms and creating visual elements and copy that align with our client's vision and branding.

Strong attention to detail and familiarity with and the ability to use social media to maintain or build a brand are necessary to be a Social Media Content Curator. SMCCs are expected to regularly post text, video, and images that engage the company’s target market, follow online conversations on a company’s social media accounts, and solve customer concerns using social media platforms.

Proffered Skills:

Candidates should have experience and working knowledge of FB Business / Meta, Instagram Business, and or Google Business applications, visual design skills in graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

Job Details:

We are seeking individuals with the following background and experience with skills and abilities to perform the following: 

  • Conceptualizing creative ideas
  • Communicate and maintain positive working relations with clients
  • Working with different content management systems
  • Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
  • Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
  • Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
  • Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying strategic weaknesses, and making recommendations for improvements
  • Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities 

Content Curator Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in a related field or experience
  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines and not exceed project milestones
  • Ability to write proficiently
  • Good understanding of content management systems.
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles
  • Creative and open to new ideas
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Assisting in developing social media campaigns
  • Crafting compelling content or getting it developed
  • Posting content across social media accounts
  • Engaging with customers on different channels
  • Analyzing running campaigns
  • Being on top of the latest social media trends


To be considered for a position with Harper Grayson Communications, the following minimum requirements must be met:

Education: High School Diploma, GED, Associate Degree,

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university-related fields such as Internet Marketing, Journalism, Business and Marketing Management,  Web Development, Programming or Computer Graphics Design, Multimedia Design, and Animation.

  • Must be over the age of 18 with a stable internet connection
  • Must have a working cell phone
  • Must have own desktop computer/laptop/tablet with mouse and keyboard
  • Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends. 
  • Proficiency with computers, programming, content management software, social media platforms, MS Office, Google Docs, and Google Drive
