The Role

As a Music Teacher at Harborfields Music Center, you will provide engaging and effective music instruction in drums, percussion, voice, piano, and guitar. You will create a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical expression among students of varying skill levels.

What You'll Do

- Teach private and semi-private lessons in drums, percussion, voice, piano, and guitar (or any combination of these instruments).

- Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student.

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their musical abilities.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and collaboration.

- Organize and lead student performances and recitals to showcase their talents.

- Collaborate with other music educators and staff to enhance the overall music program.

- Stay current with music education trends and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience teaching music, specifically in drums, percussion, voice, piano, and guitar.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students of all ages.

- Knowledge of various music styles and teaching methods.

- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Nice to Have

- Experience with music technology and digital tools for teaching.
