Responsibilities

• Supervise a class of 12 preschool students ages 3-5.
• Provide a safe, orderly and nurturing environment.
• Maintain productive classroom routines and procedures. 
• Provide encouragement, correction, incentives and consequences.
• Work together with preschool lead teachers to support the teaching of math and language concepts.
• Setup and cleanup snack and manage snack records.
• Participate in regular staff meetings.

Requirements

• High School diploma minimum, some college experience is preferred
• Experience working with children
• Completion of regular trainings to comply with ODE licensing requirements, including CPR/First Aid
• Satisfies or working towards qualities of deacons as outlined in 1 Timothy 3
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Passion for working with inner-city youth and helping them succeed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
