Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards

• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education (preferred) or related field
• Strong understanding of elementary education principles and best practices
• Moral and spiritual requirements of deacons as outlined in 1 Timothy 3
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Passion for working with inner-city youth and helping them succeed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
