Happy Valley Nutrition, PC is a thriving group nutrition practice based in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. We are a fat positive, weight inclusive, anti-diet, Health at Every Size practice specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, Intuitive Eating, body image, chronic dieting, and helping our clients learn to give a big middle finger to diet culture and the patriarchy. 

We are looking for a HAES-aligned, compassionate, passionate, and awesome Registered Dietitian to join our growing team of three dietitians. This person will be employed by the company and will need to complete necessary paperwork for employment. 

The Dietitian will be responsible for individual nutrition counseling, including documentation and collaboration with other health care providers, as needed. The dietitian MUST be comfortable and have experience working with adolescents and teenagers. Additional potential opportunities for group counseling, course development, written and video content or other creative endeavors may be available for interested applicants. This position can be hybrid or virtual at this time.

Requirements

• RD/RDN credentialed via the Commission of Dietetics Registered (CDR)
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year nutrition counseling experience
• Licensure in Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire
• Understanding of eating disorders and/or mental health treatment and feel comfortable working with adolescents to teenagers in addition to adults.
• Available to work and hold at least 23 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Happy Valley Nutrition.
• Alignment with weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size paradigms.
• Access to reliable internet in order to provide telehealth services. Bonus if you live in the Western Massachusetts area and can see clients in person, but not a must.

Hours

• Work hours and schedule is flexible and may vary depending on client and Happy Valley Nutrition needs.  Hours include some evening availability.
• Dietitian is not guaranteed a minimum number of clients or  sessions per week, however it is expected that the Dietitian will be available to hold at least 23 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Happy Valley Nutrition.
