We are seeking a QA Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. This is an in-office position, and the selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Austin office.

Description

The QA Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web platforms. In addition to QA responsibilities, this individual will assist with shipping logistics and provide customer support as needed when overflow occurs from other team members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive QA testing on mobile applications and web pages, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance meet company standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify potential issues and provide clear feedback.
  • Assist with shipping and fulfillment tasks, including preparing and processing orders when needed.
  • Support the customer support team during high-volume periods by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience performing QA testing on mobile device applications (iOS and Android).
  • Experience performing QA on web platforms.
  • Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to assist with tasks outside of core QA responsibilities as needed.
  • Proven ability to create clear and comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence for task management and collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience managing and utilizing test suites for automation and regression testing.
  • Experience tracking and reporting QA metrics.


Nice to Haves

  • Previous customer support experience.
  • Experience performing QA on apps that interact with BLE-connected devices.
  • Experience in a Health Care product
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.


Location Requirement

This position is 100% onsite at our Austin, TX office in the Domain.

Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 per year
