As a Shift Leader at HAPPY DAVE’S, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of Sales Associates to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the store operates smoothly. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching Associates, managing minor tasks, and serving as the primary point of contact for your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train, mentor, and coach Sales Associates to maximize their potential and deliver high-quality service
- Provide exceptional customer service to leave a positive impression on customers
- Lead a team of 2-4 team members in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately process sales at the POS and adhere to payment procedures
- Support the store in achieving company goals and objectives
- Handle general store duties such as merchandising, vendor relations, customer service, and cleaning
- Ensure the store is secure and safe, complying with safety and environmental guidelines
- Follow company standards and procedures
- Reconcile reports for opening and closing shifts
- Work effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
- Strong oral communication skills
- Flexibility to work daytime, evening, and/or nighttime shifts
- Ability to follow directions and comply with company policies and procedures
- Capacity to work under minimal supervision in stressful conditions
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various tasks
- Vision abilities including close vision and distance vision
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
