HAPPY DAVE’S Assistant Quick Serve Restaurant Manager's key role is to support the overall success of the restaurant through coaching and supporting the team. Through strong leadership the Assistant Restaurant Manager will ensure the teams are productive and the operation runs to the HAPPY DAVE’S standards to achieve the restaurant’s goals



  • Supporting the Manager in achieving the company goals and objectives set.
  • Directly responsible for supervising all personnel in their assigned store including communicating, monitoring, and enforcing company policies and procedures. responsible for all store level company records in their store, including the accuracy, security, and submission of daily reports. 
  • Monitoring and enforcing staff scheduling.
  • Supervising food preparation and cooking process, assist in managing food cost, preparation, and waste.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service. As the Assistant Manager, you’ll have a direct influence on the customers’ impression on the brand. 

·       Directly responsible for all specified restaurant duties including opening, closing, scheduling, inventory control, merchandising, ordering, vendor relations, customer relations, disputes, complaints, cleaning, etc. on their assigned shift.

·       Follows and makes sure Associates follow guidelines and procedures of knife handling and safety.

·       Ensures the facility is secure and safe, complying with all safety and environmental guidelines. 

·       Ensures the facility is secure, complies with safety, environmental guidelines, food handling and sanitation procedures.

·       Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative duties. 

·       Embraces and follows food handling and sanitation procedures.


·       Basic management and supervisory skills required and be able to perform principal duties of the job.

·       The ability to follow directions and meet all the company policies and procedures associated with the efficient operation of the assigned store. 

·       Ability to work with little or no supervision.  

·       Must have a Driver’s License and personal transportation for getting to the assigned store.

·       Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, and/or nighttime store shifts.

·       Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and move objects w/ hands, requiring eye-hand coordination.

·       Must possess good oral communication skills.

·       The ability to follow directions and meet the company policies and procedures 

·       Physical condition necessary to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, ability to be on his/her feet for extended periods of time, ability to work in extreme, intermittent temperatures for extended periods of time.  i.e. coolers, outside, kitchens, etc...

·       Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, grasp, and move objects w/ hands, requiring eye-hand coordination during shift.


$19 - $25 per hour
