JOB TITLE:  Assistant Store Manager


HAPPY DAVE’S Assistant Store Manager key role is to support the overall success of the store through coaching and supporting the team. Through strong leadership the AM will ensure the teams are productive and the operation runs to standards, this successful store will ensure the HAPPY DAVE’S Customer standards and achieving the stores goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the Manager in setting plans to achieve the company goals and objectives set for their assigned store.
  • Directly responsible for supervising all personnel in their assigned store including communicating, monitoring, training, and enforcing company policies and procedures. responsible for all store level company records in their store, including the accuracy, security, and submission of daily reports, payroll, and bank deposits. 
  • Monitoring and enforcing staff scheduling.
  • Inventory control and asset protection. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service. As the Assistant Manager, you’ll have a direct influence on the customers’ impressions of the brand. 

·       Directly responsible for all specified general store duties including opening, closing, scheduling, inventory, merchandising, ordering, vendor relations, customer relations, disputes, complaints, cleaning, etc..

·       Ensures the facility is secure, complies with safety, environmental guidelines, food handling and sanitation procedures.

·       Complies with all company standards and procedures.

·       Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative duties. 


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 

·       Basic management and supervisory skills required and be able to perform principal duties of the job.

·       The ability to follow directions and meet all the company policies and procedures associated with the efficient operation of the assigned store. 

·       Ability to work with little or no supervision.

·       Must have a Drivers License and personal transportation for getting to the assigned store.

·       Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, and/or nighttime store shifts.

·       Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and move objects w/ hands, requiring eye-hand coordination.

·       Must possess good oral communication skills.

·       The ability to follow directions and meet the company policies and procedures 

·       Physical condition necessary to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, ability to be on his/her feet for extended periods of time, ability to work in extreme, intermittent temperatures for extended periods of time.  i.e. coolers, outside, kitchens, etc...

Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, grasp and move objects w/ hands, requiring eye-hand coordination during shift.
