Happied is looking for an Event Planner with strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. This is the perfect role for someone who currently has a flexible work day, is excited to work with other top-notch event planners, and wants to make some extra income on the side.
The Event Planner - Contractor will report to the COO and Event Planner Manager.
Contract length is set for an initial six month period with an opportunity to extend based on performance.
Event Planner Contractors are paid according to a commission structure, ranging from 0.5% to 1.5% of overall retreat spend. Commission rate will be outlined in each scope of work sent to the planner, prior to accepting assignment.
Event Planners will be focused on planning team retreats only. Event Planners are the key to success, offering end-to-end client service and retreat planning. Event Planners will be matched with a client then given 48 hours to accept or deny the client match. If the Event Planner accepts the match, they will begin working with the client to plan a retreat that meets the expectations of the stakeholder and the standards of Happied. Event Planners often identify retreat locations, negotiate and book accommodations, book group activities, select menus and event details, and more.
