Hapatune LLC Creative Designer Chicago, IL · Remote · Full time

We are a scientific B2B marketing agency in search of an aesthetically-driven, responsible Creative Designer that will design and produce motion graphics, videos, brochures, web pages, infographics, social media graphics and more for a scientific audience.

What is Hapatune?

Hapatune is a small but mighty marketing boutique. We are not a typical full-service marketing agency, nor are we a typical consultancy that that tries to do “everything”. We are smart. We are targeted. We support small and up-and-coming bioprocessing suppliers and service providers with marketing and strategy. And we do what we do exceptionally well. Our clients are scientists and engineers, and they are competing against global multinationals. They contribute to the realization of life-saving medicines, and they need our help to raise awareness of their technologies through professional creative services. By supporting these upstart bioprocess suppliers with modern marketing and creative services, Hapatune helps level the competitive playing field and improve choice in the market.

We are also a company that prioritizes giving back and are a proud 1% For The Planet member company, donating 1% of our annual sales to environmental nonprofits.

Why do we need a Creative Designer?

Our clients supply scientific products and services to biopharmaceutical manufacturers. There would be no medicines available without our clients’ critical contributions. They require our assistance with branding, website design, and production of promotional videos, brochures, infographics, social media graphics, reports, and other B2B marketing collateral. We need a Creative Designer that takes our clients’ scientific starter content and transforms it into professional, beautiful designs.

What are the duties of the Creative Designer?

The Creative Designer will support the creative endeavors as well as marketing/administrative tasks for Hapatune. They will develop engaging visual collateral for Hapatune and our clients that tells a story and elicits an emotional response from the audience. The successful candidate will bring graphic design and motion graphic production capabilities to support web, brochures, and social media promotions, while also contributing administrative support to the team and our clients, including task scheduling and campaign reporting. And like all our teammates, the candidate is responsible for upholding the high quality of work that is our hallmark. We are a small company, and like all of us, they will be expected to wear many hats! The Creative Designer will functionally report to the Creative Director.
