Technical bioprocess sales and marketing professional in Japan to help us grow our marketing service business to bioprocess suppliers in the Japanese market. This position is only open to native/proficient speakers of both Japanese and English languages.
What is Hapatune?
Hapatune is a US-based, global bioprocess marketing company. We support bioprocessing, CGT, oligo, and mRNA tools providers and service providers with branding, promotion, and market research services.
Our clients are suppliers of consumables (filters, resins, single-use products), raw materials (chemicals, media), instruments (synthesis, cell culture, purification, software), and services (CRO, CDMO) to manufacturers of biologics, cell and gene therapies, peptides, mRNA, and nucleic acid therapeutics. We see a unique opportunity in bioprocess supplier marketing - namely, that it is lacking. Especially for smaller suppliers and business units – in particular, tools and service providers in Japan that are entering the US and European markets. Hapatune has a proven track record of assisting Japanese bioprocessing companies and business units with marketing content creation and advisory marketing support to help them penetrate the US and European markets.
Why do we need a Business Development Manager - Japan?
Many Japanese industrial and chemical manufacturers are pivoting their business towards life sciences and bioprocessing. These business units intend to expand beyond the domestic Japanese market and enter the US and European markets with their high-quality product offerings. However, many of these suppliers don’t yet have the brand recognition or reach of the major multinational bioprocess suppliers such as Cytiva, Merck, ThermoFisher, and Lonza. We believe these emerging Japanese suppliers can accelerate their business through external marketing support: branding, technical content creation, website development, video production, social media marketing, custom market research, and marketing strategy. Hapatune provides exactly this support. You will engage the Japanese bioprocess suppliers and demonstrate how Hapatune can help them grow and succeed in the US and European markets.
