Bookkeeping Supervisor

Location: Blue Ash, OH (Hybrid)


H&W CPAs is a fast-growing, highly collaborative CPA and accounting firm looking for a Bookkeeping Supervisor who’s ready to step into a player-coach role that owns client work while helping to lead and elevate a small team.


This might be a great fit for you if you are somebody that:

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients (70%)
  • Supervise and support a team of 4 bookkeepers (20%)
  • Assist with tax prep during peak season (10%, nice-to-have)
  • Review work, improve processes, and elevate team performance


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with payroll, payroll taxes, and sales tax
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online + Desktop preferred)
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and team-oriented
  • Someone who takes ownership and improves what they touch
  • Experience leading and growing teams and enhancing structure and processes preferred


Bonus (not required):

  • Experience with 1040, 1120S, and 1065 Tax Returns

  • Full-time, exempt

  • Salary: $70K–$85K (flexible for the right fit)
