About Guided Wealth

Guided Wealth is an SEC-registered Registered Investment Advisor serving a select group of families through retirement and beyond. We intentionally remain small so we can deliver the level of personalization, responsiveness, and attention to detail our clients deserve.

We believe great advice is built on strong relationships. Every client matters, every team member has a meaningful role, and every improvement we make has a direct impact. We're not trying to be the biggest advisory firm - we're focused on building the firm our clients trust most.

About the Role

We're looking for a high-caliber Client Relationship Manager who enjoys being at the center of the client experience. This role sits at the intersection of relationship management, financial planning support, and firm operations. You'll work closely with clients, advisors, and outside professionals to ensure things move forward smoothly and every detail is handled thoughtfully.

You'll serve as the primary relationship manager for select high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families who value responsiveness, organization, proactive communication, and exceptional follow-through.

This is not a role for someone who wants to simply check boxes or wait for direction. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems before they become problems, builds better processes, and genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional client experience.

Because we're fully remote, success requires independence, good judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly and proactively without needing constant oversight.

What You'll Do

Own the Client Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing client needs and service requests.
  • Build trusted relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional follow-through.
  • Lead the annual client review process, including preparation, coordination, meeting follow-up, and execution of action items.
  • Oversee the new client onboarding experience from engagement through implementation.
  • Manage proactive client outreach, including life events, milestones, onboarding touchpoints, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Coordinate complex client requests across advisors, CPAs, estate attorneys, insurance professionals, and other trusted partners.
  • Support firm-wide client communications, including newsletters, educational updates, and announcements.

Financial Planning Support

  • Maintain accurate client information within eMoney and other wealth management systems.
  • Prepare financial planning data and supporting analyses ahead of advisor meetings.
  • Update balance sheets, net worth statements, held-away assets, and planning assumptions.
  • Coordinate client requests related to distributions, required minimum distributions (RMDs), beneficiary updates, and planning implementation with advisor oversight.
  • Help ensure advisors spend their time delivering advice rather than managing data and follow-up.

Operations & Firm Initiatives

  • Partner with leadership on operational improvements and firm-wide initiatives.
  • Help develop and refine client experience processes as the firm grows.
  • Coordinate client appreciation events, educational workshops, and gifting programs.
  • Step into cross-functional projects and firm initiatives wherever additional ownership or execution is needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and the overall client experience.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3-5+ years of experience in wealth management, family office, or another high-touch financial services environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ownership mentality.
  • Comfortable navigating financial planning and wealth management technology with minimal training.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and genuine care for clients.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Experience with eMoney, Altruist, or similar RIA technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with retirement, tax, and estate planning concepts.
  • Experience contributing to operational improvements or cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating with outside professionals such as CPAs, attorneys, or other advisors.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
  • Performance bonus tied to firm and client experience goals.
  • Competitive benefits package, including a 401(k) with employer matching.
  • Federal holidays and unlimited responsible time off.
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Professional development and continuing education support.

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a boutique environment. You'll spend part of your time working directly with clients, part supporting financial planning, and part helping improve how the firm operates.

You naturally step in when something needs to be done, enjoy building systems as much as relationships, and take pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.

We invest in great people and believe strong performers create opportunities over time. At the same time, we're looking for someone who is excited about the responsibilities of this role itself - someone who wants to become excellent at client relationship management and make a meaningful contribution to the firm.
