Your Role: The Guide

You’re not just a driver. You’re a trusted local, a storyteller, a concierge on wheels, and a friendly face who knows Truckee like the back of your (warm, weathered, mountain-seasoned) hand. You’ll be the first smile guests see and the last wave they remember—shuttling them between unforgettable moments and elevating their entire stay with genuine care and insider wisdom.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive with purpose — transport guests around Truckee safely, punctually, and with a playlist worth remembering.
• Deliver joy — move fresh-prepped food, supplies, and special touches between our homes and hubs.
• Be the local legend — recommend the perfect trail, hidden coffee spot, or can’t-miss pop-up event.
• Create connections — build rapport with guests, making their stay feel custom-crafted just for them.
• Keep our rides fresh — maintain clean, well-stocked vehicles that feel more like lounges on wheels.
• Team up — collaborate with the hospitality crew to ensure seamless, elevated experiences.
• Stay in the know — be current on weather, events, road closures, and the latest local gems.

What You Bring:

• You’re a Truckee expert (or Lake Tahoe area) with a passion for sharing your slice of the world.
• You’re warm, engaging, and love meeting people from all walks of life.
• You’ve got a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Hospitality experience is a plus—but personality and presence are the real must-haves.
• You’re a self-starter, always a step ahead, and take pride in doing things well.
• You’re flexible and happy to work weekends, evenings, and holidays (because guests don’t vacation on a 9-to-5).

Physical Bits (the mountain life isn’t always soft):

• Able to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, loading/unloading gear, navigating stairs, and dealing with a variety of mountain weather conditions.
