Description
Education/Experience:
- At least one year of fabrication, skilled labor, or mechanic experience
- Bike mechanic or bike industry experience a plus
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Lean manufacturing experience & understanding
- In-depth knowledge of mountain bikes a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Frame Manufacturing
- Manufacture carbon frames
- Assemble and manufacture all carbon components that are used in the production of carbon frames
- Assemble and manufacture aluminum inserts that are used in the production of carbon frames
- Comply with all manufacturing safety standards
- Participate in the finishing steps of frame production (sanding, drilling, slotting, etc.)
- Follow standardized work instructions and produce frames at the required rate within the required safety standards
Process Improvements
- Identify and communicate inefficiencies or issues (concurrently providing solutions is not required)
- Identify and communicate thoughts on ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and/or increase capacity
Skills and Requirements:
- Safety First - work safely
- Produce quality parts at the required rate
- Become familiar with all manufacturing processes

- Immediate start date available
Salary
$18 - $20 per hour
