Revved Industries, the parent company of Guerrilla Gravity, is the bike industry’s newest and most advanced carbon fiber operation. The company is driven to make a simpler, less impactful, and more ecologically responsible manufacturing process and product designs. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead in developing a team of engineers.

Description

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial) with 5+years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and 2-5 years supervisory and/or project coordination experience
  • 2 years of relevant engineering team management or direct management experience other related background consistent with success in this role
  • Experience with product management (Validation, BOMs, Testing Requirements)
  • Previous experience with composites not required but preferred 
  • Previous experience in the bike industry not required but preferred

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manages and directs the work of their team to ensure on-time delivery of accurate high-quality proposals addressing customer requirements and enabling the achievement of business goals
  • Track record of being able to track complex, detail heavy work across several team members
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers
  • Provides thought leadership to create or contribute to functional designs, leveraging advanced and/or specialized technical knowledge
  • Own development of new product creation efforts from a start-up perspective per project. 
  • Assigns or delegates responsibility for specific projects, tasks or assignments
  • Gives work directions, resolves problems, prepares work schedules, establishes objectives and timelines to ensure completion of operational functions
  • Confers with management, production, and purchasing staff to determine engineering feasibility and cost effectiveness of projects
  • Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives to determine department performance relative to stated goals and objectives per project
  • Seeks out, generates, and recommends/implements profit-making and/or cost-saving ideas
  • Develops, reviews, and/or revises specifications for purchasing new equipment, machinery, tooling, fixtures, and test/inspection equipment for improvements in manufacturing current products and for start-up of new product lines
  • Provides technical direction by reviewing designs to ensure compliance with external and internal standards, and good design practices
  • Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and ISO standards - Per individual customer/client standards and requirements

Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year
