Revved Industries, the parent company of Guerrilla Gravity, is the bike industry’s newest and most advanced carbon fiber operation. The company is driven to make a simpler, less impactful, and more ecologically responsible manufacturing process and product designs. We are looking for an Assembly Technician Lead to handle most aspects of mountain bike frame and component assembly and decal placement. Candidates with bike shop experience, a passion for bikes, and exceptional attention to detail should apply.
Description
1. Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a group of Assembly Technicians
- Front line problem solving
- Update and Track metrics
- Implement line-level CI projects
- Key initial project organization. Review all work instructions, thorough understanding of every process.
- Dozuki guide review and creation
- Process improvement generation and implementation.
- 5s tracking and implementation.
- Ensure TPM sheets/tasks are done and tracked.
- Set daily targets on build boards each morning
- Coordinate with R&D work requests as needed.
- Ensure all team members are developed, and no one is stuck in the same spot for long periods of time.
- Frame & bike building and assembling
- Track and complete building and assembly tasks by due dates; offer solutions if possible
- Communicate low-stock items/weekly audits of inventories as required.
- Provide feedback on ways to improve building process
- Ensure work instructions are followed
- Ensure no in line changes are made without going through the proper process.
- Inspect outgoing product to make sure it is the correct item and that nothing is missing.
Salary
$20 - $22 per hour
