Job Qualifications 

Requirements: 

• Must be California Licensed and in good standing without any history of disciplinary action
• Access to a computer and robust reliable internet connectivity
• Comfortable with technology 
• Comfortable working in a virtual team environment
• Minimum of 23 client-facing hours per week (part-time) or Minimum of 28 client-facing hours per week (full-time) 

Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in a relevant field 
• Completion of EMDR Basic training within first 6 months of hire 
• Familiarity with community mental health resources 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients 
• Strong leadership qualities 

General Responsibilities 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and resolve relationship problems
• Diagnose and treat psychological disorders within a family context
• Guide clients through transitional crises such as divorce or death
• Highlight problematic relational or behavioral patterns
• Help replace dysfunctional behaviors with healthy alternatives
• Take a holistic (mind-body) approach to wellness
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues 
• Assess and Develop Treatment plans 
• Offer assistance to individuals with a range of mental health disorders including but not limited to:
• Child and adolescent behavioral problems
• Grieving
• Depression and anxiety
• Domestic violence
• Infertility
• Marital conflicts
• Substance abuse
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy 
• Implement and review treatment plans 
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies 
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner - 24 hour note policy 
• Assist GT Healthcare in enhancing and maintaining a superior patient experience
• Work in a team environment with operational and administrative staff to ensure efficient and appropriate billing for services rendered.
