POSITION: Store Clerk / Cashier
STATUS: Full-time or Part-time, Non-exempt
SALARY: $10.00 - $17.00 / hour based on experience & company fit, with growth opportunities.
REPORTS TO: Front of House Lead
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to process information and merchandise accurately using computer and POS systems.
- Clear and effective communication with guests and team members.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read, count, and complete documentation accurately.
- Comfort working throughout all areas of the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and register stations.
- Proficiency with store equipment and ability to learn new systems as needed.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift or move merchandise up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
BASIC JOB DUTIES
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting every guest, answering questions, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.
- Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions, and store events to better assist customers.
- Support merchandising efforts, including floor moves, display maintenance, and signage.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise; ensure unwanted or misplaced items are returned promptly.
- Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all company procedures for pricing, signage, and loss prevention.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions at the register while maintaining cash accountability.
- Arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to contribute to the team.
- Communicate customer needs, concerns, or feedback to management promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours without a break)
- Ability to bend, stood, climb ladders, and lift moderate leads unassisted
- Capability to push and pull carts within the physical requirements of the role
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness, and verify signage/labeling for accuracy
