Contract HubSpot Web Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced HubSpot CMS Developer to join our team on a project-based contract. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and a growth mindset. You’ll be working closely with our website services team to deliver creative, effective solutions for our clients using the HubSpot CMS platform. This is a remote position with a flexible schedule, though availability during US working hours is required (not necessarily 9-5 EST). We welcome applicants from all locations and backgrounds.

Portfolio and (2) Professional References Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize HubSpot themes and modules.
• Create and manage HubDB builds and dynamic content templates.
• Set up custom objects with associated modules and dynamic content.
• Integrate 3rd-party tools with HubSpot via APIs.
• Design and develop responsive HTML emails.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HubSpot CMS and CRM issues.
• Provide training and support for clients on HubSpot tools and features.
• Support and customize HubSpot Marketplace assets.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with Node.js and Hubl for creating flexible HubSpot modules.
• Advanced understanding of HubDB, custom objects, and dynamic content.
• Knowledge of GitHub and version control best practices.
• Familiarity with HubSpot CLI for development.
• Experience with responsive development ensuring high performance and accessibility.
• Ability to create designs from tools like XD or Figma.
• Knowledge of HTML email best practices.
• Strong understanding of HubSpot CRM, Content Hub, and Marketing Hub.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Asana for project management.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT and Replit (to be discussed in the interview).
• Proven track record of effective troubleshooting and solving technical challenges.
• Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $20 - $35/hour, depending on experience and skill level.
