Licensed Clinical Therapist

Position Title: Licensed Clinical Therapist [LSW, MSW, DSW, LISW, LICDC]

Location: Southern Ohio region (Ross, Pike, Vinton, Jackson counties), Cleveland or Columbus, OH

Reports to Clinical Supervisor

Role Summary

The Therapist provides assessment, diagnosis, counseling, mentoring, and coaching to

youth and families, develops and monitors individualized treatment plans, and ensures

clinical interventions align with client needs and progress. This role centers on

community-based behavioral health services that empower high-risk youth to achieve

their full potential.

Scope of Work

• Provide direct clinical services (individual, family, and group) to children,

adolescents, and families in office and community settings.

• Manage a caseload consistent with organizational standards and funding

requirements.

• Coordinate care with internal teams and external partners to support holistic client

outcomes.

• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and comply with HIPAA and

agency policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Client Care

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.

• Create, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans with

measurable goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and case

management as needed.

• Provide mentoring and coaching to support client skill building and resilience.

Clinical Documentation & Compliance

• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and other

required documentation in a timely, accurate manner.

• Ensure documentation meets agency, payer, and regulatory standards.

Collaboration & Professional Practice

• Participate in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and supervision.

• Maintain professional licensure and pursue ongoing professional development.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, referral sources, schools,

and community partners.

Completed Assessments: charged at $125.00 per completed assessment; an entirely separate cost from the clinical hourly rate.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support program development, quality improvement activities, and agency

initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical operations and organizational

goals.

• Communication: Respond to email and internal messages promptly and

professionally.

• Punctuality: Attend scheduled meetings and client sessions on time.

• Professionalism: Demonstrate integrity, ethical practice, and respect in all

interactions.

• Organization: Keep caseloads, documentation, and schedules well organized and

up to date.

• Continuous Improvement: Engage in training, supervision, and reflective practice

to improve therapeutic effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.

• Licensure: Active Therapist license in Ohio (required).

• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.

Operations, and Program staff.
