The Director of Sales is responsible for leading, developing, and optimizing the performance of the sales organization. This role will oversee sales strategy, team performance, accountability, coaching, operational alignment, and revenue growth initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build structure, develop talent, improve communication, and create scalable sales processes while maintaining a strong culture of accountability and collaboration. This individual will partner closely with leadership to drive company growth, improve sales performance, and support long-term organizational goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and execute company sales initiatives aligned with organizational growth goals
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to improve revenue performance and market expansion
  • Monitor sales metrics, KPIs, and team performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Create accountability measures and performance expectations across the sales organization
  • Assist in forecasting sales goals, productivity targets, and growth opportunities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor sales representatives and sales leaders
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins, team meetings, and development conversations
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for new and existing sales team members
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven team culture
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and retaining high-performing sales talent

Operational & Process Management

  • Help create and improve sales workflows, communication standards, and operational procedures
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Clinical teams to improve efficiency and communication
  • Ensure sales processes are documented, scalable, and consistently followed
  • Identify process gaps and implement solutions to improve productivity and customer experience

Customer & Relationship Management

  • Support escalated customer or partner concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, affiliates, vendors, and key business partners
  • Represent the company professionally during meetings, events, and business interactions

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs
  • Analyze data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on sales performance, trends, and operational needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of sales leadership or management experience
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing KPIs, sales metrics, and accountability initiatives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales technology platforms preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, medical sales, or direct-to-consumer industries is a plus
