As we embark on an exciting phase of expansion, moving into a new building that more than doubles our capacity, we are seeking passionate and experienced Special Education Teachers, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Childcare Workers with expertise in autism. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement personalized educational and behavioral plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Engage students in activities that promote social, physical, and cognitive development appropriate for their age.
- Support students with special needs in various settings, both structured and unstructured.
- Gather and analyze data on student performance and behavior.
- Provide regular updates to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to enhance student learning and growth.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred and required within first 90 days of employment.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is required.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
