About Growing Together Behavioral Center
Growing Together Behavioral Center (GTBC) is a nonprofit organization serving children, teens, and young adults with autism and special needs. Our mission is to provide exceptional care, innovative programs, and a supportive environment for our students, families, and staff. As our team continues to grow, we are excited to offer an on-site Staff Baby Room to support GTBC employees with infants who need a safe, nurturing space during the workday.
Position Summary
We are seeking a loving, reliable, and safety-focused Staff Baby/Toddler Room Caregiver to oversee our on-site infant room designed exclusively for the children of GTBC employees. This individual will ensure a calm, caring, developmentally appropriate environment for infants while supporting the needs of our staff and maintaining GTBC’s high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate care for infants/toddlers ages 0–18 months.
- Maintain a calm, nurturing, and safe environment with predictable routines.
- Follow all infant-care protocols including safe-sleep, diapering, feeding, sanitizing, and health guidelines.
- Track feeding, nap, and diaper schedules; maintain simple daily logs.
- Communicate effectively and warmly with parents (GTBC staff).
- Ensure the baby room is clean, organized, and stocked.
- Report any concerns, needs, or incidents promptly to leadership.
- Follow GTBC policies, confidentiality standards, and health/safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- DCF 45 hours completed (or in progress and willing to complete quickly).
- Infant CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential preferred; willingness to pursue if not yet completed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with infants in a childcare, nanny, or daycare setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of infant development, safety, and routine care.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. and perform floor-based care tasks.
- Background check required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full time; schedule aligned with GTBC staff needs.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and certifications.
