In-Home Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Overview

Groundwork ABA is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy services to children with autism and related developmental needs. RBTs work directly with clients under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans focused on communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

This position requires strong communication skills, patience, professionalism, and the ability to engage children through play-based and structured learning activities.


Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy sessions
  • Implement behavior intervention and treatment plans designed by the BCBA
  • Collect accurate session data and document client progress
  • Teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
  • Use positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
  • Maintain professional communication with caregivers and supervisors
  • Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled sessions
  • Complete session notes and documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in supervision and ongoing training as required

Requirements

  • Active RBT Certification
  • High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, ABA, or related field preferred
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background screening
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in client homes
  • Experience working with children preferred

Salary
