About Ground Game Texas

Ground Game Texas is a grassroots organizing organization that works with everyday Texans to win real, local change. We organize working-class communities to pass ballot initiatives, build local power, and create pathways for people who are often overlooked by traditional political campaigns to participate in shaping their cities. Our work focuses on people-powered campaigns like marijuana decriminalization, banning no-knock warrants, and other local policies that reduce harm and increase accountability. We believe lasting change comes from investing in people — especially those new to organizing — and providing paid training, real skills, and opportunities to grow in movement work. Ground Game Texas operates across the state, with a strong focus on hiring locally, building leadership pipelines, and running campaigns rooted in the will of Texans.
