Position Overview:
We seek a Director of Finance and Human Resources, an individual adept at balancing intricate financial strategies with the nuances of human resource management. This role involves bolstering our financial processes, refining forecasting techniques, and providing insightful financial direction. In addition, the director will be instrumental in managing our HR system, ensuring the seamless functionality of day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the company's comprehensive financial operations, setting the benchmark for financial excellence.
- Design and maintain robust budgeting and forecasting frameworks.
- Engage in profound financial analyses to drive insights and highlight avenues for growth.
- Oversee accounting operations to ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards..
- Prepare and present in-depth financial reports to the executive team.
- Engage constructively with department heads to align financial strategies with broader business objectives.
- Work with Sales to establish credit limits for clients, track and review KPIs, and onboard clients into QuickBooks for invoicing set up.
- Oversee the HR system, Gusto, ensuring seamless operation and strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Regularly monitor and update the status of unemployment and other state registrations, ensuring their accuracy and relevance.
- Take the helm of day-to-day HR operations, instituting best practices and ensuring operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
- Possession of a CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks, including advanced features and functionalities.
- A rich background of at least 7 years in financial management and accounting.
- Prior experience working on HR related matters.
- Prior experience within the digital marketing sector is desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Stellar communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
