The Assistant Manager of Operations (AMO) assists the golf club’s Operations Manager in leading the team members in providing friendly, personable service for golfers and guests of the club. By working with, training, and coaching team members; the AMO is to promote the highest level of service to ensure quality guest experiences while assisting managing operations.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Under the direction of the Operations Manager, provide oversight and management of golf services, events, retail shop, practice range, clubhouse facilities, and team members to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of guest programs and the facility's day-to-day operations
  • Assist in managing golf reservations, on-course services, and pace of play
  • Uphold operating procedures, safety standards, and guest satisfaction
  • Serve as Manager on Duty and ensure all areas function efficiently
  • Promote events and club programs
  • Focus on supporting business key performance indicators
  • Perform other operational duties as assigned


Key Qualifications (Super Stars Wanted!):

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for service
  • Experience as an assistant golf professional or equivalent golf shop position is a plus or golf knowledge with a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
  • Ability to promote a positive team environment
  • A high level of integrity and receptivity to change
  • Ability to work as warranted outdoors
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hospitality management experience with at least 1 year working in golf services (or comparable golf ops knowledge)
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent


Schedule:

  • Full-time, opening (sunrise) and closing (after dark) shifts
  • Expected to be available to work most weekends and holidays and as warranted

$69,000 - $75,000 per year
