Greenville Pediatric Services has had the honor and privilege of being entrusted to care for the families of Greenville and surrounding communities for over 60 years. Our practice has grown to include twelve providers located in three offices in Greenville, Farmville and Winterville. Our team delivers collaborative, proactive pediatric care, from birth through adolescence, to ensure healthier futures for children. Our nurses care for children from newborns through adolescence, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad range of clinical skills while getting to know patients and their families over time.

What You'll Do

As a Pediatric RN, you will work closely with our pediatricians and clinical team to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Your day may include:

• Caring for patients from infancy through adolescence
• Administering medications and immunizations
• Assisting pediatricians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Performing nursing assessments and monitoring vital signs
• Providing telephone triage and helping families determine the appropriate next steps for their child's care
• Educating parents and caregivers about medications, treatments, illnesses, and preventive care
• Supporting children and families through procedures, illnesses, and other challenging moments
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records
• Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
• Building relationships with patients and families and becoming a trusted part of their healthcare experience

What We're Looking For

• Current NC RN license or NCLEX-RN eligible
• CPR certification for Healthcare Providers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in caring for children
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy pediatric practice
• Willingness to learn and grow as a nurse

Pediatric nursing experience is a plus, but it is not required. We welcome applications from new graduate nurses who are excited to begin their careers in pediatrics.
