We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Seasonal Snow Equipment Operators to join our team for the winter season. This role is responsible for operating company-owned snow removal equipment to provide snow and ice management services at commercial properties during winter weather events. This is an on-call, seasonal position, with work available based on weather conditions and snowfall accumulation. Operators must be available to respond during evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Position Summary

As a Seasonal Snow Equipment Operator, you will help keep our clients' properties safe and accessible throughout the winter season. You will operate Greene Thumb equipment, follow designated service routes, and complete snow and ice management tasks according to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company-owned snow removal equipment, including trucks, plows, skid steers, and other snow management equipment.
  • Perform snow plowing, snow relocation, and ice management services at assigned properties.
  • Apply salt and other de-icing materials as directed.
  • Respond promptly when dispatched for winter weather events.
  • Complete assigned routes efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
  • Report equipment issues, property concerns, or safety hazards to management.
  • Follow all company safety policies and client-specific site requirements.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding site completion and service status.
  • Represent Greene Thumb professionally while on client properties.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and insurable.
  • Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and snow removal equipment safely.
  • Previous experience operating commercial equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary.
  • Reliable transportation to and from designated reporting locations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during snow events.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
