Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fulfillment Associate. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely order processing, inventory management, and general stockroom duties. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have excellent organizational skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Fulfilling Orders: Accurately and efficiently retrieve products from designated storage areas according to order specifications. Safely package orders to prevent damage during shipping.
- Managing Inventory: Receive incoming inventory, inspecting products for quality and quantity. Restock shelves and storage areas, ensuring proper organization and efficient space utilization.
- Staging Products: Prepare products for order fulfillment by unpacking and organizing merchandise in staging areas. Ensure all necessary documentation is included with orders.
- Receiving Shipments: Assist in the receiving process by unloading and unpacking deliveries. Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies, update inventory systems, and alert appropriate personnel of any issues.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High energy level and enjoy hands-on work.
- Able to lift 50lbs without assistance from ground to chest level and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
- Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level
- Able to walk and stand for designated work hours
- Able to bend and squat for designated work hours
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and. other warehouse equipment
- Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one’s head if required at location.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
- The ability to communicate both timely and effectively, in a noisy operations environment, is required
- Strong reading and critical thinking skills to carry out work orders
- Oral communication skills to effectively work alongside other members of the warehouse team.
- High-level listening skills to hear and remember instructions provided by the warehouse manager
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, which may be hot, cold, or noisy
