As a Carrier Sales Rep you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing transportation with third-party carriers to move freight efficiently and profitably. You will be tasked with building relationships, manage carrier performance, and ensure timely communication to match the right truck to the right load while maximizing margin. Through you efforts will work to establish an internal carrier network that matches our preferred lanes.

- Be the Driver of Growth: Use your charisma and sales skills to recruit new carriers through outbound calls, emails, and strategic networking.
- Make Deals Happen: Negotiate competitive freight rates and secure commitments that benefit both carriers and customers.
- Spot Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify top-notch carriers and match them with freight opportunities, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics solutions.
- Collaborate & Conquer: Work closely with our internal teams to boost carrier performance and logistics efficiency, making sure every load gets where it needs to be.
- Keep Things Organized: Manage rate negotiations and maintain detailed records of all carrier communications.
- Be the Problem-Solver: Act as the go-to liaison between carriers and internal stakeholders, resolving issues and ensuring stellar customer satisfaction.

- Experience: 1-3 years in outbound sales, relationship management, or a similar role โ logistics experience is a plus!
- Industry Knowledge: Familiar with logistics practices and market trends, so you can stay one step ahead.
- Negotiation Skills: Confident closer who knows how to make deals that stick.
- Organizational Prowess: Juggling multiple tasks? No problem! You can keep everything on track with ease.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and logistics software.
