Position Overview

Graystar Logistics LLC is seeking a dependable and highly organized Dispatcher to oversee daily transportation operations and support our fleet. The Dispatcher will coordinate driver schedules, monitor shipments, communicate with customers and brokers/shippers, and ensure timely, efficient deliveries while maintaining exceptional service standards.

*****Working Days/Hours: M-F, 7:00PM - 3:30AM*****

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule drivers for daily freight operations
• Monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and management
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with customers, shippers, and brokers
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and load information
• Resolve transportation issues, delays, and service disruptions promptly
• Track fleet utilization and driver availability
• Maintain accurate records and updates in dispatch and transportation systems
• Support compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
• Assist in optimizing routes and maximizing operational efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous dispatching, transportation, logistics, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics operations
• Familiarity with load boards such as DAT and Truckstop
• Knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Compensation

• Competitive salary: $45,000–$50,000 annually, based on experience
