Grasshopper Club is hiring On-Call Budtenders (Canncierges) to support our Logan Square and South Loop locations. This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about cannabis and customer care who’s looking to pick up shifts on their own schedule. You’ll help guests find the right products, ensure compliance, and provide a welcoming, informed retail experience. Pay is $19/hour, plus you’ll get an employee discount on all products and access to samples when available.

What is an On-Call Canncierge?
Our on-call team members provide flexible support across our two Chicago locations. There are no set weekly hours—you’ll be offered shifts as they become available (to help cover team absences, events, or high-traffic days), and you can choose the ones that fit your schedule.

What You’ll Do
- Create a welcoming, informative experience for every guest
- Make thoughtful product recommendations based on guest needs and preferences
- Educate guests on dosage, formats, effects, and responsible use
- Verify IDs and ensure compliance with all Illinois cannabis regulations
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Support store operations during busy times or special events
Who You Are
- 21+ and authorized to work in Illinois
- Friendly, reliable, and excited about cannabis and customer service
- Previous retail, hospitality, or cannabis experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
- Available for occasional evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
