Shifts are currently available on Saturdays, with the opportunity for additional hours as client needs grow. **Job Title:** In-Home Support Caregiver
**Location:** Mission Viejo, CA
**Job Type:** Part-time
**Salary:** $25 - $25 per hour
**Job Overview:**
Graceful Day Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable male caregiver to provide personalized respite care for individuals with developmental disabilities in Mission Viejo, CA. This role is ideal for someone with experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), direct support professional work, or caregiving in a respite care setting. Work is scheduled on Saturdays, with additional hours likely to increase over time based on client needs. We are looking for someone who can start soon, with more positions becoming available in the near future.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Implement ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques as needed
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal hygiene
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in ABA, direct support professional work, or caregiving in a respite care setting preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Document client progress, behavior, and incidents
- Availability to work Saturdays, with flexibility for additional shifts as needed
