Graceful Day Home Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide or Caregiver to support a client located in the Hollywood & Highland area of Los Angeles. This is a long-term, part-time assignment with the potential for extended hours in the future. The client is currently independent with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) but needs reliable companionship, light assistance, and help maintaining their routine and safety at home, including making and managing appointments. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who prefers steady morning shifts and values building a meaningful, long-term relationship with a client in a supportive and professional environment.

Job Title: Part-Time Home Health Aide / Caregiver
Location: Hollywood & Highland – Los Angeles, CA
Start Date: April 29, 2025
Schedule: 4 hours/day, 7 days/week
(We are hiring two caregivers: one for 4–5 days/week, another for 2–3 days/week)
Shift: Primarily morning hours
Job Overview:
Graceful Day Home Care is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide or Caregiver to provide support to a client in the Hollywood & Highland area of Los Angeles. This part-time, long-term position offers the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with the client and provide companionship, light assistance, and help with maintaining their routine and safety at home.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment
- Support the client's daily routine and provide general assistance as needed
- Prepare light meals or snacks
- Help with appointment scheduling and keeping track of schedules
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition
- Encourage engagement in stimulating activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or home health aide experience
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the California Department of Social Services (or willing to register upon hire)
- Negative TB test (within the last 12 months)
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Punctual, trustworthy, professional, and organized
- Reliable transportation to the Hollywood & Highland area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a home care or facility setting
- Experience with appointment scheduling
- Friendly, communicative, and proactive personality
- Familiarity with cognitive support or memory care (a plus)
