Job Overview:

Gotham Soccer League LLC is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a League Commissioner. This role is vital in making our player experience first rate leading to team retention and league growth.

Player Interactions Responsibilities:

• Talking with team captains and players in the league frequently to keep the temperature of the division
• Assist with in person collection attempts for teams with outstanding dues
• Forfeit notice fielding and team updating

Operation Responsibilities:

• Setting and posting schedules.
• Making sure scores and divisional tables are up to date.
• Handing out shirts at the beginning of the season, awards at the end.
• File post match reports or assigning staff to do so.
• Game filming.

Management Responsibilities:

• Organizing support staff to make sure all shifts are covered.
• Either assigning or making arrangements for the assignment of referees.
• Mandatory weekly meetings with management and sales to coordinate efforts.

Business Development Responsibilities:

• On the ground marketing, including posting yard signs
• Attending pickup sessions to recruit new players
• Working with venues to start new divisions
• Posting flyers or signs
• Becoming entrenched in various social media groups to spread the word

What We Will Be Looking For:

We are looking for a person who is passionate about soccer. Someone who would play every day of the week if possible, and can connect with our recreational players through that passion. Our work is incredibly important to our recreational players identities and their social lives. Your passion will help you understand them and they will appreciate the efforts you put into making their league amazing.

Compensation:

This is a commission based position but you won't be starting from nothing as we have been in business since 2015 with enormous growth potential.
