Golden Rule ABA is privately run company located in Honolulu, Hawai'i. We have a small team and are currently looking for just the right individual who already lives on O'ahu. Currently, we have a few openings for a position that will offer anywhere between 12-20 hours. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK IN THE EVENINGS. Some morning shifts could be available but not promised. This position REQUIRES a reliable vehicle and must be willing to drive to clients home (sometimes multiple in a day).


Role Description:

This is a part-time Behavioral Health Technician role at Golden Rule ABA, located in Central/West O'ahu area (Ewa Beach, Kapolei, Schofield, etc.) As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work onsite with children/teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disabilities. You will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans, collect data, and communicate progress with families and a multidisciplinary team.

An RBT performs the following:

  • Providing treatment sessions (ABA) in homes and in the community
  • Taking data and reading graphs
  • Running ABA programs
  • Implementing behavior change procedures
  • Running an upbeat and reinforcing session with multiple activities
  • Communicating with your direct supervisor
  • Communicating and modeling programs to caregivers
  • Maintaining your RBT certification

Qualifications:

  • The position requires an active RBT certification. (If you don't have this certification but are willing to get it within a 2 week period - we will provide the 40 hours of training)
  • Experience working with children
  • Must be highly motivated, a team player, and able to take direction from supervisor
  • Have good communication skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Aged 18+ years at start of one-on-one services with clients
  • Clean background check (10 years)
  • Reliable transportation and willing to drive to client's homes
  • Ability to work flexible hours and stick to consistency
  • Willing to be taught and accept feedback.
  • Can squat, run, lift 35 pounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Passion to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families

Salary: From $26.00 per hour depending on experience and years in the field of ABA.
