We at Golden Heart Home Services, LLC are looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our team and work with our patients who are homebound and have issues completing daily activities due to mental, physical and/or mobility issues. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide care and assistance in the patients home in accordance with an established plan of care. 

Some duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing, and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care. Prepare meals and assist clients with eating and drinking. 
• Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, wheelchairs, or automobiles and with dressing and grooming. 
• Personal care including bathing, incontinence care, and other services. 
• Provides friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities including dressing, guidance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry, and light housekeeping. 
• Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or hospital. 
• Ability to provide exceptional service and show empathy and compassion in the lives of the clients that you serve. 

Requirements & Skills 

• Work experience as a Direct Care Worker or similar role 
• Ability to assist clients with mobility, personal care and hygiene needs. 
• Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties, run errands and prepare meals. 
• Vehicle for picking up prescriptions and errands with valid driver license and insurance. 
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs. 

Job Type: Part-time 

Expected hours: Varies with assignment 

Medical specialties:

Standard shift: 

• Day shift (1:00PM - 4:00PM)

Weekly schedule: 

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Ability to commute/relocate: 

• Frankenmuth, Michigan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) 

Experience: 

• Caregiving/Direct Care: 6 months (Required) 

License/Certification: 

• CNA (Not Required) 

• CPR Certification (Required) 

Salary range$14.20 - $15.00 per hour
