We are seeking a tenacious, collaborative, high-energy Sales Executive to join our team and help power our partnerships and sales growth! This role focuses on business development for our annual conference Behavioral Health Tech.

  • You take initiative in all aspects of your work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You are flexible, agile, and creative in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • You have a proven track record of success in identifying, pitching, and closing sponsorships and exhibit booth sales to a variety of digital health startups, health systems, health IT vendors, behavioral health providers, and more.
  • You have strong negotiation skills and an ability to tailor solutions to close deals effectively.


This role is for someone who will take great care of the many relationships we have in our community, enhance them, and ensure everyone feels welcomed, recognized throughout the year and onsite, and valued. 


Key Responsibilities:


As a Sales Executive, your primary focus will be driving new business and new revenue through the acquisition of sponsorship and exhibit booth sales. You will be responsible for expanding our client base by prospecting and engaging potential partners, tailoring solutions to meet their needs, and closing deals that contribute to the growth and success of our annual conference and digital products.


  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and engage with top prospects to create and manage sponsorship sales opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients to support the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead Generation: Source and qualify new leads through research, cold calling, emailing, and other sales techniques to find leads.
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely business forecasts on a weekly basis, ensuring transparency and alignment with sales goals.
  • CRM Management: Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are accurately recorded and maintained in the CRM system.
  • Industry Insight: Stay informed about current trends in the digital health and behavioral health industries to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience with a focus on consultative sales, specifically for events and trade shows.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and teleconferencing tools such as Zoom, Hubspot, Slack, and more.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%
