Description
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders (operate POS system and handle cash transactions)
- Answer customer questions and assist with product and beverage selections.
- Prepare and serve coffee (espresso and drip)
- Focused on customer experience first
- Answer customer calls with professional phone etiquette.
- Maintain and clean espresso machines, grinders, and coffee equipment.
- Keep the checkout and coffee bar areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Requirements
- Experience as a cashier, barista, or in food service
- Knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation (or willingness to obtain one)
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged due to diverse customer interactions
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to maintain customer’s first mentality in a fast-paced setting
- Desire to develop through training programs
- Has a valid NYC Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain one)
Salary
$17 - $20 per hour
