Description
Baker Expertise
- Mix, boil, and bake bagels following established recipes.
- Ensure consistent quality, size, and appearance of baked goods.
- Track inventory and communicate ingredient or supply needs.
- Operate and monitor ovens and baking equipment safely and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Previous baking experience preferred (bagel experience a plus; training available).
- Ability to work early mornings (as early as 3–4 AM).
- Strong attention to detail, timing, and consistency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

- Desire to develop through training programs
- Has a valid NYC Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain one)
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Salary
$17 - $21 per hour
