About Glow
Glow is an independent, midwife-owned boutique practice in Gilbert, Arizona, offering expert women's health and wellness care in a warm, highly personalized environment. We intentionally stay small enough to know our patients well, and our patients value the time, attention, and accessibility that set us apart from larger systems.
This Role
Glow is growing. We're offering prenatal, gynecology, wellness, menopause, fertility, IV, and ultrasound services, and for the first time we need someone whose job is to lead our team and help all the pieces work together. This role is about leadership, organization, communication, and moving us forward on our dreams and goals, while making sure we keep delivering the absolute best care to our community.
You'll work side by side with our owner as her right hand, turning decisions into real action and holding our team to our high standards of care, professionalism, and kindness.
What You'll Do
- Lead our team: be the person our team looks to day to day. Manage schedules, time off, and coverage; set clear expectations; give regular encouragement, feedback, and recognition; address problems directly; and help everyone grow into their best work
- Turn ideas into action: take ownership of projects from start to finish, including marketing plans, new service launches, events, and process improvements, and keep us organized, on track, and accountable
- Welcome and guide our patients: meet with new and prospective patients to explain our services, walk them through basic billing and insurance processes in clear, reassuring terms, and make every patient feel like our most important guest
- Smooth the hard moments: be the calm, warm presence who de-escalates tense situations with patients and teammates and turns concerns into solutions
- Keep the office running: payroll and timekeeping, supplies and ordering, vendors, IT, and new-hire onboarding
- Make everyday decisions within the priorities we set together, and know when to bring something back for discussion
- Pitch in wherever you're needed: in a small office everyone wears many hats, and when team members are out you'll help answer phones, turn over a room, or send a fax.
Who thrives in this role
This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. We're looking for a driver: someone who is self-directed, deeply accountable, and delivers results without needing to be checked on. You see what needs to happen, you make a plan, and you follow it through. You bring out the best in the people around you, you love variety, and you take real pride in making a place run beautifully.
What we're looking for
- Experience leading, supervising, or coaching a team, and the confidence to hold people accountable with warmth
- Exceptional people skills: you put patients and teammates at ease and can smooth a difficult situation without making it bigger
- A proven track record of owning projects and delivering results
- Familiarity with how a medical office runs (healthcare or hospitality experience is a plus)
- Highly organized and calm under pressure
- A strong communicator in person and in writing, including when giving honest feedback
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems
- Highly organized, with a natural eye for order and polish: you keep our spaces, supplies and systems looking and running the way a top practice should
Schedule and Location
- Full-time: Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 5:00, Friday 8:00 to 12:00
- Fully in person at our Gilbert office
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly rate depending on experience, with growth as the role expands
- PTO, paid holidays, employee discounts, and 401(k) with match
