Glow Midwifery is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our in-demand practice in Gilbert, Arizona. Glow is a well-respected, midwife-owned women’s health and midwifery practice known for warm, relationship-based care, excellent patient experience, strong outcomes, and a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and gynecology.
Glow provides full-scope midwifery and women’s health care, including prenatal care, hospital birth, postpartum care, gynecology, wellness visits, ultrasound, IV therapy, and related services.
Patients choose Glow because they want care that feels personal, evidence-based, and deeply supportive. We are a small practice with a high-touch feel, and we want all of our patients to be surprised at how comfortable their healthcare experience can be. We have high standards for ourselves and a strong commitment to each other as a team. We value warmth, professionalism, reliability, clinical excellence, emotional intelligence, and kindness.
As a certified nurse-midwife at Glow, you will provide full-scope midwifery care in both the clinic and hospital setting. You will care for patients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, in addition gynecology and wellness visits, while helping maintain the calm, high-quality Glow experience our patients know and trust.
Glow’s new model includes shared prenatal care and shared call, with the option to accept designated ("special") patients if you desire. Glow's reputation was built on a high-connection model, and it is our pleasure to offer extra attention and support for the patients that value this.
The CNMs at Glow are comfortable running a tidy clinic schedule, communicating with and educating patients, engaging in shared-decision making, advocating for safe birth plans, and keeping abreast of the best current scientific recommendations for our field.
Please note, this role is not suitable for new graduates. Please watch for a separate job posting specific to new graduates - one that is designed around the mentoring and growth that happen those first 1-2 years of practice.
This role would be 24 hours of patient-facing time in the clinic, with 2-4 additional hours each month for meetings and events. Call is split amongst the midwives for shared patients. If you elect to accept a designated patient, you agree to be on call 24/7 for that patient while she is term until she births. Designated patients are optional, and not mandatory. Specifics of the schedule, clinic hours, and call rotation will depend on the final role structure, candidate experience, and practice needs.
Glow is committed to making midwifery sustainable, and has found our current model to be the most flexible and enjoyable way to practice midwifery. This design allows for flexibility and accommodation of the midwife's priorities.
We are open to candidates who are available now and those planning ahead for a future transition. We understand that notice periods, licensure, credentialing, and hospital privileging can take time, and encourage you to apply now even if you are not ready to begin just yet.
