Key Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Medication assistance per Regs.
• Prepare simple meals, housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning
• Accompany residents to appointments and activities
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage engagement
• Observe and report health or behavioral changes
• Maintain documentation, shift notes, and communication logs
• Support life skills and daily routines with a helpful attitude

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months–1 year caregiving experience required
• Skilled in basic cooking, cleaning
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork
• Ability to lift, bend, and assist mobility
• Must pass criminal background check
• Current TB test, Physical, CPR/First Aid card required
• HCA/DSP certification preferred; CPI/MAB is a plus or willingness to obtain
