As one of Glidance’s founding Glide Trainers, you’ll be the person who transforms a breakthrough device into real-world freedom for millions. You’ll guide new users, shape our training approach from the ground up, and help redefine independent mobility.
Glidance is an autonomous technology company building the future of robotics and intelligent wayfinding to serve real human needs.
Our flagship product, Glide, is the world's first Intelligent Guide for individuals who are blind or have low vision — a new category of personal robot that enables millions of people to get out of their homes and navigate more confidently, safely, and independently.
If you're looking for a place where groundbreaking technology meets real-world impact, and where your work defines a category rather than iterates upon it, then Glidance is where you belong. This is not just your next job: it is your chance to make a life-changing impact on millions around the world.
As part of Glide’s ongoing rollout to the blind and low vision community across the US, UK, and Canada, we are seeking an innovative, flexible, and experienced professional who would like to be on the front lines of teaching mobility using Glide.
We currently have opportunities for two part-time positions, and are looking for someone who is able to travel to onboard Glide pilot testers. This can include traveling to different states for two to four days during a week. There may also be opportunities to conduct half-day or full-day workshops to familiarize other orientation and mobility professionals with Glide and practice techniques for using it as a primary mobility aid. Ideally, one person will primarily handle the Eastern United States, and the other will primarily handle the Western United States. These are remote positions.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
