Girl Talk, a division of Strengths and Solutions, is a dedicated team of Black women therapists specializing in mental health support for Black women and teens. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with a focus on culturally informed practices, particularly for Black women and teens.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Collaborate with other therapists to foster a supportive, connected team environment.
• Utilize our client management systems to document sessions and manage client information efficiently, ensuring minimal paperwork.

Requirements

• Florida resident, *independently licensed* psychologist to practice mental health in Florida (PhD, PsyD) - Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to extend positions to interns at this time.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy services, with a focus on culturally responsive care for Black women and teens.
• Experience with active, evidence-based approaches to treatment (e.g., CBT, solution-focused therapy).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Demonstrates cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Organized and able to manage documentation with minimal administrative support.
• Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and remote work requirements.
