Girl Talk, a division of Strengths and Solutions, is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our dedicated team of Black women therapists. We specialize in mental health support for Black women and teens, offering culturally attuned, compassionate care. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with a focus on culturally informed practices, particularly for Black women and teens.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with other therapists to foster a supportive, connected team environment.
  • Utilize our client management systems to document sessions and manage client information efficiently, ensuring minimal paperwork.


Requirements

  • Fully licensed to practice mental health in any U.S. state (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing therapy services, with a focus on culturally responsive care for Black women and teens.
  • Experience with active, evidence-based approaches to treatment (e.g., CBT, solution-focused therapy).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Organized and able to manage documentation with minimal administrative support.
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and remote work requirements.

Salary

$62,500 - $87,500 per year
